The facelifted version of the Volvo XC40 is set to get a mild hybrid version. The XC90 will likely come with minor cosmetic updates along with a new infotainment system.
After debut Rechargeable XC40Volvo Cars is set to launch two more models this week. The Swedish car giant will drive facelifted versions of its flagship SUVs XC40 and XC90 to India tomorrow, September 21. The facelifted version will be supplemented with mild hybrid technology. In addition, the facelifted XC40 will also receive exterior tweaks, more exterior color options, and other aesthetic changes.
According to the report, the XC40 facelift SUV is expected to come with sharper headlights and an updated front bumper. The face of the SUV will look like that of the XC40 Recharge, which was launched earlier this year.
The XC40 facelift SUV will also get a new 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, offering a mild hybrid option. The engine is capable of producing a maximum capacity of 197hp. The current XC40 SUV comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. It can produce a maximum power of 185 hp and a maximum torque of 300 Nm.
The XC40 SUV, offered in a single variant, has a price tag of 44.50 lakh (old gallery). Expect the midl hybrid variant of the facelift model to be offered around Insurance fee 2 thousand. It will compete with premium entry-level SUVs like Mercedes-Benz GLAAudi Q3and the BMW X1.
The facelifted version of the XC90 SUV is also expected to get some cosmetic tweaks along with a new infotainment screen. Volvo is unlikely to make any changes under the hood of the three-row luxury SUV. It is expected to continue to use the 2.0-liter twin-turbo four-cylinder petrol engine. The engine is capable of producing a maximum capacity of about 300 horsepower and maximum torque of 420 Nm. The current model is offered with all-wheel drive technology.
Now available XC90 The SUV, offered in a single variant, has a price tag of 93.90 lakh (old gallery) in India. Facelift models will be slightly more expensive.
