5.3 Million In Syria May Be Homeless After Devastating Earthquake

A United Nations official said on Friday that up to 5.3 million people in Syria may have been left homeless after a devastating earthquake rocked the region this week.
“Up to 5.3 million people in Syria may have been displaced by the earthquake,” the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees’ Syria representative, Sivanka Dhanapala, told a news conference.
