7 dead in Turkish restaurant blast; gas canister suspected

ISTANBUL — An explosion at a restaurant in western Turkey killed seven people on Friday, with an official saying a gas cylinder may have caused the explosion.
The governor of Aydin province told Turkey’s CNN Turk that five other people were injured, including one in critical condition. Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag tweeted that a person “alleged to have caused the explosion” has been detained and three prosecutors are investigating.
