With New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox Drawn 4-4 at the end of the ninth inning, Judge sent a blast into the deep center as fans rose from their seats, preparing to be part of the Major League Baseball history.
“Aaron Judge… center court… back up… Hernandez is there,” FOX playwright Adam Amin called on the broadcast.
Midfielder of the Red Sox Kike Hernandez took the catch right at the warning line and the crowd groaned in unison.

Aaron Judge was just steps away from hitting his 61st game of the season and winning the game for the New York Yankees late in the ninth round against the Boston Red Sox.
Judge will have another shot at surpassing Roger Maris’ American League home-game record of 61 on Friday night, when the Yankees come back to beat the Red Sox in the second of this three-game series. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET on Apple TV +.
