After performing mother’s last rite, PM Modi addresses pre-planned West Bengal events virtually | India News


NEW DELHI: Immediately after performing the last rites of Heeraben’s mother in Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Narendra Revision participate in pre-planned development work events in West Bengal almost.

“When I met her on her 100th birthday, she said one thing that will always be remembered: working with intelligence, living life with clarity, means working with intelligence. and live pure life,” Prime Minister Modi wrote on Twitter.
Later today, PM Modi will probably stop connecting Vande Bharat Express congratulations to New Jalpaiguri at Howrah Railway Station, in addition to kicking off various development projects in the state.
This will be West Bengal’s first Vande Bharat train and the country’s seventh train to be launched. The last such train was inaugurated for the Bilaspur (Chattisgarh)-Nagpur (Maharashtra) route on 11 December.
Prime Minister Modi is also likely to lay the foundation stone for many Railway projects along with the foundation stone for the redevelopment of the New Jalpaiguri Railway station.
He is also likely to inaugurate Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s National Institute of Water and Sanitation (DSPM – NIWAS), developed at Joka, Diamond Harbor Road, Kolkata at an estimated cost of around Rs 100 Crore. The Institute will serve as the highest national authority for water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in the country, serving as an information and knowledge hub for Central, State and local.
Later in the day, the Prime Minister is also likely to chair the second meeting of the National Ganga Council attended by the Union Minister for Jal Shakti, the other Union Ministers are members of the council and the Ministers of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. The National Ganga Council has been given overall responsibility for overseeing pollution prevention and rejuvenation of the Ganga River and its tributaries.
