AI peeing incident: We fell short, response should have been swifter, says Tata chairman


NEW DELHI: Responding to an incident where an unruly passenger urinated on another passenger on a flight Indian Airlines flight, tata’s son Chairperson N Chandrasekaran said the company’s response should have been much quicker.
“The incident on Air India flight AI102 on 26 November 2022 is a matter of personal distress for me and my colleagues at Air India. Air India’s response should have been much quicker. failed to address this situation in the way it should have been,” Chandrasekaran said, in a statement.
He added that tata corporation and Air India stand with the safety and well-being “of our passengers and crew with firm conviction”.
“We will review and correct all procedures to prevent or resolve any incidents of such a perverse nature,” said President Tata Sons.
