Amazon will hold its annual hardware event on September 28

Amazon will hold a hardware event on September 28 at 12 p.m. ET, the company announced today. The retailer’s invitation to Engadget didn’t include many details, only promising that it would share news about “our latest Amazon devices, features, and services.” Incidentally, the event will fall exactly one year from the date of the event 2021 hardware showcase.

Last year’s event featured many unique products, with Astrothe company’s Alexa-powered robot on wheels, steal the show. Other highlights include Echo Show 15 and The light, a kid-focused teleconferencing device. The company has also announced many iterative updates in the form of Halo View Gymnastics Band and Ring Alarm Pro. Amazon won’t be streaming the event, but you can expect comprehensive coverage from Engadget.
