OK, this can’t be true, can it??
Everyone has been wondering what the future will be Johnny Depp after being vindicated – in the eyes of many – by winning a defamation lawsuit against his ex-lover Amber Heard. Will Hollywood really invite him back with open arms? We shall see.
For Amber, well, that’s the opposite question, isn’t it? We’ve heard about her role in the upcoming movie Aquaman The sequel has since dropped – but rumors of her firing have never been confirmed. If she really wants to lose her new role while being considered a legal liar, how is she going to make money?
According to the report from OK Magazine, she is planning to write a narrative! Yes, a memoir would include the stories… well, frankly, got her sued for defamation in the first place! The outlet’s source says she’s ready to throw her caution to the wind and put pen to paper:
“Amber considers her career in Hollywood over. She talked and was very excited about it. At this point, she has nothing to lose and wants to tell it all.”
Insiders are corroborating rumors the actress has “broken” (which her lawyer also basically said on TV) and is therefore not “in a position to deny money” right now.
Memoirs like this, around controversial celebrities, are BIG MONEY (Britney gets 15 million dollars!!!) and can be a great windfall for a struggling actress. However, publishers will need to boldly implement it. After all, what can stop Johnny from suing if she repeats what the Virginia jury decided is libel ??
Like Dror BikelThe author of The 1% Divorce: When the Titans Clashexplain to ALRIGHT:
“Depp and his attorneys will read and listen to everything Heard has to say. If she crosses the line, there’s a good chance she won’t get caught in another defamation lawsuit and end up in court. “
That alone makes us wary of the story. We mean, how can she look at this? Well, she did Johnny looks daring when reiterating the abuse allegation in her first television interview after the trial. And when Explosion contacted her, her people – who usually spread false rumors right away – this time seemed a little more relaxed, saying instead:
“Thank you for reaching out, but we have no comment to share on this.”
Notably not a disclaimer…
Okay, let’s allow her to do that, that she really feels like she has “nothing left to lose”. What publisher would pay her for a book they almost certainly can’t print??
