Amy Duggar can’t BELIEVE her family members asked the judge to give her a cousin Josh Duggar a smaller sentence for his child pornography charges, and frankly, neither can we!
It’s no secret that the 35-year-old has been an outspoken critic of Josh over the years, and now she really make her feelings aware of the whole situation after family members Michelle and Anna Duggar wrote to the judge asking for clemency before the official sentencing on May 25.
The two women wrote lengthy notes to try to convince the judge to reduce their sentences. In the letter, his wife Anna actually described him as “considerate, respectful, quick to forgive, patient and truly the kindest person.” Meanwhile, his mother Michelle said he has “friends and family who love and support him in his ability to succeed as a husband, father and business owner, and as a man.” both present and future!” Other positive comments came from Anna’s family, Duggar’s neighbours LaCount Reberwho left Josh at his home while under house arrest, a pastor, and more.
But really, how much leniency is the group seeking? His team of lawyers only begged for 5 years behind bars. (We know, the audacity!) However, prosecutors did asked Josh to face 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines. Needless to say, Amy couldn’t agree more with their sentencing request!
On Thursday, she arrived Instagram Stories shared that she hopes that 19 Children and Numbers alum must receive at least 20 years in prison for his “sick” crimes:
“Thank you to everyone who contacted. Please do not send me graphic/sick details about Josh Duggar’s case. Honestly, I have to protect my mind and heart from hearing/reading such disgusting material. Please let me remind you to be careful if you want to know the graphic details to protect your mind and heart. You will never be the same. I will continue to shine in the darkest areas. Please just pray that Josh Duggar gets his final sentencing. More than 20 years. ”
But that’s not the only thing she has to say about the matter…
Amy then blew Anna and Michelle over Twitter for “fantasizing” and singing Josh’s praises, writing ::
“Feeling sad because of the recent news. I have a lot to say before sentencing and I’m not scared anymore. First of all Josh is funny, charismatic, kind and all the things my aunt listed in the letter. But there is a sinister side. Being with him makes your skin crawl. You can’t ignore what he did years ago, and what he was caught looking at! Are they delusional? ”
And if you don’t think her stance on the matter is clear enough, the mother went on to tell everyone to finally “wake up” and “stop living in denial,” posting a quote have content:
“Persecutors are not all shady people lurking in alleys. They are among your friends, classmates, co-workers, family, etc… They are sociable, likable, charismatic, charming, even acting appropriately when going out becomes much more important. . ”
