Hinged is one of the leading contenders in the Australian Oaks

A near capacity field was assembled for the Australian Oaks (2400m) in Randwick this Saturday, with Queensland’s Dirty Gypsy Goddess looking to make amends from Vinery Stud Stakes.

Here is the speed map, runner preview and $100 bet strategy for 2022 Australian Oak.

Australia’s Oaks Speed Map 2022

The Chance Bonus sped up when she won in Canberra last time so I think she came from the wide gate. El Patroness will be ahead and beyond that, not entirely certain. Maybe Hinged can settle in the first few times.

A preview of the Australian Oaks Runner 2022

1. Hinge: This time she was amazing. Considered a winner in Vinery but was late caught by her stable friend Fangirl. 2400m is a query to her but she brings class and that will bring her a long way.

The odds: $ SP.00

2. Gypsy Goddess: I’m really interested in the Gypsy Goddess. I very much forgive her runaway in Tancred. She didn’t get a chance on how the race had run and since she was near the end and had to run endurance on her own, the effort was good. 2400m is no problem and if she is within 400m good luck keeping her out.

The odds: $ SP.00

3. Biscayne Bay: Close the shop and make Maher/Eustace the Prime Minister of Australia if they can do this to win. Continues on March 12 on a mile and is firm enough without jumping up and down. It’s a Hitotsu-style prep and Blinkers is back in action. I would be shocked if she wins, but then, not surprised.

The odds: $ SP.00

4. Honeycreeper: Blinkers were brought in by Adrian Knox last Saturday and they work because she made them a complete mess. They’re not exactly strong but she has Colette’s sense of timing.

The odds: $ SP.00

5. Le Villi: The former Kiwi made her Australian debut with Kris Lees. The NZ Oaks track is solid and always respect them as they pass. Just not sure the depth there this season is strong.

The odds: $ SP.00

6. El Patroness: She’s a big price to pay if you’re the forgiving type. Her two wide backs were not covered, but last time, she was very sharp in escaping after sitting wide early. She paints to get a lovely run during transit and at best she can see her menacing.

The odds: $ SP.00

7. Hope in your heart: She’s looking for a genuine Oaks contender but her Vinery run is simple and other than that, I can’t entertain her.

The odds: $ SP.00

8. Gin Martini: Ran good at Goulburn two back but confronting the big girls in Vinery, she was discovered so couldn’t see her threatening.

The odds: $ SP.00

9. Ivory pink: Pink Ivory seems to be on the right track. Not quite fit when she was at 1850m at Newcastle in Tancred but really liked the way she finished her race. She is a stout that will eat 2400m and you always have to respect John Sargent with these three year old fillings.

The odds: $ SP.00

10. Charity spirit: The 2400m should be no problem after finishing second in Adrian Knox last Saturday. Just not sure she has classes. Then again, we’ve seen in this race run distance > class.

The odds: $ SP.00

11. Hard to be sweet: The beautiful director from Mick Dee saw her win last Friday night at Cranbourne. She has changed speed, but not sure about her at this level and wet road.

The odds: $ SP.00

12. Lekvarte: She’s looking for an Oaks contender but she was so bad in a low run at Doomben last time that she deserves $101 or more.

The odds: $ SP.00

13. Secret charm: Wrestled in the mud last Saturday at Adrian Knox and the track is going to get worse so she’ll struggle.

The odds: $ SP.00

14. Commando Drift: It wouldn’t be a bull without Pat Carey throwing in a $151 window. There was a good start to her form after Yonce, but that’s all I can say positively about her chances. .

The odds: $ SP.00

15. Miss velvet: Not sold on wet ground, suitable wet ground, but she’s the best of that $51+. Arrogance won against Scone on Monday and she should have no problems with the ride.

The odds: $ SP.00

16. Mauricently: Mauricently is a talented person that I feel for Kris Lees. There is no grade of some of these but 2400m should be no problem. Blinkers continued leading up to Adrian Knox last Saturday, and I think she worked home pretty late in the back of Honeycreeper. I doubt she wins, but for the fans, I’ll entertain her.

The odds: $ SP.00

17. Chance Rewards: She won big last time in Canberra but she didn’t beat anything and I doubt she will be in trouble this time around.

The odds: $ SP.00

18. Youthfull: $201 is underscore. That says it all. Still a teenager and won’t have any trouble with these.

The odds: $ SP.00

2022 Oaks A$100 Betting Strategy:

Keep it simple. Has been very hot on Goddess Gypsy for a while and won’t go down. $100 Win.

Group l Strategy Cost: $5570
Group l Strategy Profit: $10216.6
