Bank of England of Great Britain unveils new King Charles III banknote

It’s hard to understand the number of logistic gears that have started to rotate after Queen Elizabeth II’s death on September 8 this year.
Apparently there were great things, like the funerals of the Queen and King Charles III swearing allegiance to Parliament and the Church — but the ripple effects are still spreading across the UK.
Another big change that affects the entire country, albeit in a subtle way? Money.

On Tuesday, the Bank of England announced that King Charles III will replace Queen Elizabeth II on upcoming new notes.

Existing banknotes featuring the Queen will remain in use, and new notes featuring King Charles III will only replace damaged notes, the Bank of England said in a statement.
The new notes are expected to be in circulation by mid-2024.
This is not the first coin with a new King image produced — A 50 cent coin with Charles’ side is on the market.
