BCCI GENERAL On October 18, Joint Body to Select India’s Representative for ICC

BCCI has confirmed its AGM (Annual General Meeting) will be held on October 18. According to the announcement from BCCI secretary Jay Shah, the AGM will be held in Mumbai. The women’s IPL was one of the key items on the agenda moving to state associations Thursday night. Also on the agenda is the election of office holders: president, vice president, secretary, general secretary and treasurer.

High on the agenda will also be the election of India’s representative at the International Cricket Council.

The two candidates as of now are former BCCI president N Srinivasan, 77 years old, and current BCCI president 50 years old. Sourav Ganguly. There are 29 points on the agenda.


There will be an election of two representatives (one male and one female) on the Apex Board from the Cricketers’ Association of India (ICA) Two members from the joint body will also be inducted into the IPL’s Executive Council.

There will be appointments of all standing committees and cricket committees, including the Umpires’ Committee. There will be the appointment of an Ombudsman and an Ethics Officer.
