‘Bhediya’ movie review and release LIVE updates: Varun Dhawan’s father David, Kriti Sanon’s parents, Janhvi Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and other celebs attend special screening of ‘Bhediya’

After the super success of ‘Stree’ and ‘Roohi’, Dinesh Vijan is ready to expand his comedy-horror universe with ‘Bhediya’, starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. Varun plays a shapeshifting wolf in the movie. This thriller will see him enter his transformation from a man into a bhediya. Director Amar Kaushik, based on ancient Arunachali folklore, tells the story of Bhaskar, an ordinary man who starts turning into a wolf after being bitten by a mythical animal. Despite many promotions prior to the movie’s release, ‘Bhediya’ reportedly recorded less pre-orders than his previous release, ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. The film will also face stiff competition from Abhishek Pathak’s ‘Drishyam 2’ starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna which is currently making waves at the box office.
