Bose’s QuietComfort line of headphones is a safe bet for those who want both great sound quality and powerful active noise cancellation. They’re comfortable to wear for hours on end, and feature handy onboard controls, a switch from ANC to ambient sound mode, a USB-C port for charging, and an impressive 22.5-inch battery life. hour. They produce a clear and balanced sound, and Bose has managed to build on its already excellent ANC. Multiple microphones plus a “proprietary digital chip” in the QC45 detect and mute more mid-range frequencies, helping to silence things like the subway you’re on or the sound of someone else’s Zoom call nearby there.
