Broccoli (With Cheese)

Forever about a kick with mine dryerThis easy air fryer broccoli recipe (with or without cheese) is the newest recipe I wanted to share. Here is a great list of My favorite things to do in my air fryer.

Super simple broccoli fryer. All you need is:

  • broccoli
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • shredded cheese (optional)

How do you steam broccoli in an air fryer?

Cut the broccoli on the larger side if you have the option. You can also use brooches from a bag. Add olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Air-fry at 390°F for 10 minutes total (turn once halfway).

If you want to make broccoli and cheese in an air fryer, just wait until the last minute of cooking, sprinkle with shredded cheese, then let it cook for the last minute.

Can you put foil in an air fryer?

It’s correct. As you can see, melted cheese can be messy. If you want to line your air fryer with parchment or foil before cooking, you can.

I love this air fryer broccoli soup recipe for a simple and quick vegetable side dish. If you want other veggie options, you can try Deep fried Brussels sprouts, broccoli salador air fried okra. Interesting! so so. Emma

    broccoli
  • first
    tablespoons
    olive oil
  • salt and pepper

  • cup
    shredded cheddar cheese
    optional
  • first
    Lemon

  1. Cut the broccoli into large florets. It’s okay if they’re pre-cut and on the smaller side. The larger flowers are simply easier to work with (as they will get smaller as you air-fry).

  2. In a small mixing bowl, drop the broccoli in the olive oil, so that all the pieces are coated.

  3. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Air fry at 390°F for 10 minutes. After the first five minutes, pause the air fryer and stir before continuing to cook.

  5. If you’re using cheese, sprinkle chopped cheddar over the broccoli in the air fryer for the last minute of cooking.

  6. If you’re not serving with cheese, I recommend adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice (also optional).

I like to use olive oil but any liquid oil (canola, vegetable, peanut) can work well here. If you’re using coconut oil, you may want to melt it first so it can coat the broccoli flakes before cooking.
