Calvin Klein reveals partnership with Palace

Calvin Klein quit collaborating with Palace. The London label’s signature graphics and fun aesthetic, rooted in skateboarding culture, have given a fresh look to a range of Calvin Klein items, from lingerie to jeans, t-shirts, and more. coat and underwear, the latter being the first for Palace.

The collection will be available from April 8 at Palace stores in London, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo, and on both brands’ electronics stores. Its style is a tribute to the Ck look of the 1990s. Denim pieces have a deliberately pale look, with modern details adding a new twist.

The key element of collaboration is Ck One unisex perfume, the first in an improved version. “I feel very fortunate to be able to launch our first fragrance with Calvin Klein. Ck One has broken the status quo and to be able to create a new version of it the Palace way is a dream,” said Palace founder Lev Tanju.

“Since our first conversation, we have established a natural connection, reciprocal appreciation, and understanding of the vision and DNA of our respective brands,” says Jacob. Jordan, global commercial director, head of product strategy & new product ventures at Calvin Klein. “For me, it is really exciting and stimulating to see how people outside of Calvin Klein explain the brand and its history. The story we wanted to tell with Palace came to life in a completely natural way and we’re happy to make it happen. I hope everyone feels the same energy in the campaign and the products we created together,” added Jordan.

The launch campaign of the collaboration was collected and filmed by the photographer Alasdair McLellanwith Max Pearmain as art director. It depicts the birthplaces of Calvin Klein and Palace, New York and London respectively, and features an international cast that includes cultural icons like Willem Dafoe, Dame Joan Collins and the Pet Shop Boys, the Palace Skate family with Lola Leon, Adwoa AboahPrecious Lee and rapper Unknown T.
