Devastating earthquake hits Türkiye — RT World News

According to the USGS, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck central Türkiye early Monday morning, followed by several strong aftershocks across the region. According to disturbing video recorded by eyewitnesses, the tremors caused widespread devastation with many multi-storey buildings collapsing.
The quake struck around 4:26 a.m. local time and was centered about 30 kilometers from Gaziantep, the capital of a large province with a population of more than 2 million.
