Buehler, 28, is 6-3 with an ERA of 4.02 and 58 goals in 12 appearances this season.
Twice the All-Star was a first round draft pick (ranked 24th overall) in 2015 and made him MLB debuted in 2017. He spent his entire six-season career with the Dodgers, winning the World Series with LA in 2020.
All-time, Buehler is a 46-16 combined with 3.02 ERA and 690 attack.
Even with Buehler sidelined, the Dodgers entered Monday with a best of all majors of 79-34.
The Dodgers’ announcement comes ahead of LA’s four-game series with Milwaukee Brewers.
