Shield of Sin explained
Shield of the Guilty is a small shield that requires 8 Strength to use. It’s a bad choice for protection, but you can use it to parry or throw the Ash of War on it to give you some useful skills. Thanks to the spikes, it even creates a good attack shield.
Shield of the Guilty item description reads:
The Shield was created in honor of a maiden whose eyes were crushed by the Briars of Sin before being reborn in these lands. Honoring the rest of the soul, this shield enhances concentration. The briars can be used to attack enemies.
Where to find Shield of the Guilty
The Shield of Sin can be found in the Demihuman Forest Ruins in the Crying Peninsula. While there’s a big boss here that you can go up against, you don’t necessarily have to do so to gain the shield.
When you reach the ruins, note that there is a cellar outside the main building that houses bosses. You will need to jump over a wall to reach the stairs leading down. Once you’ve jumped over the wall, follow the stairs down to a chest, which contains – you guessed it – the Shield of the Guilty.
