Ellen DeGeneres being grateful her ex-girlfriend, Anne Hechenext news of her passing on Friday.
The former day talk show host who dated the actress for three years from 1997 to 2000, came to her Instagram Story seconds after news broke that Anne had succumbed to her injuries from a fiery car crash last week. Condolences to all those grieving her loss, the TV personality wrote in black text on a white background:
“This is a sad day. I am sending all my love to Anne’s children, family and friends.
A really, really sad day.

The 53-year-old has been in a coma since last Friday when she broke into a home in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles following a series of car crashes in the area. Follow LAPDThe drug was found in her system, though The investigation is ongoing.
On Thursday night, her rep sadly announced that she had do not expect to exist her “critical condition” after hospital staff did everything to cure her. The Volcano the star left behind the sons Atlas Heche Tupper13 years old, whom she shared with her ex James Tupperand Homer Laffoon20 years old, whom she shared with her ex-husband Coleman Laffoon. We are thinking of them, and all those who loved Anne, at this tragic time. She can rest in peace.
