It seems like a fun idea!
Sarah Ferguson, dressed in bright colors and silly hats, will read children’s stories on YouTube to cheer up young people in lockdown.
Sadly, some authors didn’t see it that way.
A source told me: ‘Fergie and her team have approached a few people to talk about working together.
“At least one writer said they would have liked it better if she hadn’t read their work.”

Her spokesperson said a process was now in place to claim the right to read books on Fergie’s channel (Image: Fergie in Rome last October)
When the channel first launched, questions were raised about how Fergie, 62, read books publicly without the author’s permission.
Her spokesperson says that a process is now in place – and my photo shows Sarah in Ukrainian colors on her channel last week.
Let’s hope the venture has a happy ending.
Golda’s bad hair days…
Give a thought to Golda Rosheuvel, who plays Queen Charlotte in Bridgerton – the elaborate wig she wore in the Netflix hit is becoming a health hazard.
Golda, 52, says the massive creation is so heavy that she needs physical sessions and a neck and back massage in between sessions.
Meanwhile, the show’s screenwriter Julia Quinn has her sights set on the final guest star: the real Princess Charlotte.

Julia has named the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s six-year-old daughter at the top of the list of Royals she wants to guest star on.
Now that will really be a Palace coup!
