Veteran actors and filmmakers Ramesh Deo who made their mark in Bollywood and Marathi cinema with his hard work and film selection, breathed his last today, 2nd February 2022.

Friends and family of beloved veteran actor Ramesh Deo have expressed their condolences since then and among them Marathi and Bollywood comedy king of cinema Ashok Saraf.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes‘Baiko Asavi Ashi’ star, who shared the screen space with Ramesh Deo, shared about the relationship he shares with the veteran actor, his memories and Deo’s passing. A terrible loss to Indian cinema.

Expressing his grief, Ashok Saraf said, “Ramesh Deo is like my brother. I often call him ‘Ramesh Bhaiyaa’. He often watches all of my movies and always appreciates my work. My first movie was with Ramesh Deo and it was a great honor because it was my first time shooting with him.”

“I spoke to him on his birthday on January 30th. I can tell that he is unwell and very tired. I lost my eldest brother today,” Saraf concluded. .
