BERLIN (Reuters) – Germany can become a major European semiconductor producer thanks to investments made in the sector, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at a digital summit on Friday.
“This will create an ecosystem that helps maintain the peace of the European Union, that we are not dependent on other regions,” said Scholz.
