Harry and Meghan’s Next Netflix Documentaries Coming on New Year’s Eve

Netflix announced his next project with Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex – a documentary series inspired by Nelson Mandela titled “Living to Lead”.

From December 31, the series will feature interviews with some familiar and well-known faces, from the Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern and South African football player Siya Kolisi, to the late US Supreme Court judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

In a statement, the streaming giant summed up the seven-part series as “extraordinary” leaders reflect on their lives, highlighting “fundamental values, discipline, day-to-day and guiding principles that leaders use to motivate others and create meaningful change”.

“Living to Lead” run by Harry and Meghan in conjunction with the Nelson Mandela Foundation, it said.

Geoff Blackwell, the series’ creator and director, said in the statement that he and co-executive producer Ruth Hobday wanted “to honor Mandela’s values ​​by highlighting the stories of leaders distinguished by their moral courage, belief in their ideals and values. and their priorities over others.

A trailer for the series, released on Monday, features both the theme and the Sussexes, with Harry quoting Mandela saying, “‘what matters in life is not just the fact that we lived,’ ‘” and Meghan concluded “it’s the difference we’ve made to other people’s lives that will determine the importance of the lives we’re leading.”

Other interviewees included climate change activist Greta Thunbergsocial justice campaigner Gloria Steinem, and anti-apartheid activist and former South African Constitutional Court judge Albie Sachs.

This project follows the release of the eagerly anticipated documentary series.”Harry & Meghan” on the streaming platform earlier this month.
