Hero Electric considers April to be the month of electric vehicle battery care


Under this initiative, Hero Electric customers can test their electric two-wheelers across the company’s entire network of more than 750 dealerships.

Electric hero announced on Monday that it will treat this month as an EV battery care month to avoid any battery fires at the start of the peak summer season. This move by Hero Electric comes after a few incidents of electric motorcycles of rival brands catching fire came to light.

Hero Electric has taken this initiative to facilitate face-to-face interactions with more than 4,500,000 consumers in an effort to strengthen critical aspects of battery care and safety. The EV maker said in a statement, customers can test their electric two-wheelers across the company’s entire network of more than 750 dealerships. This is a free service for customers in addition to other free services and service camps that Hero Electric organizes across dealers, it added.

Hero Electric CEO Sohinder Gill said concrete action was needed to assuage any concerns regarding electric vehicle safety. “Any remedial action for electric vehicles already on the road should be prioritized. Customer education and awareness about battery and charging system maintenance is a key link in this,” added Gill.

Gill restored how these face-to-face interactions with the company’s trained service technicians help customers understand the safety measures associated with EV batteries and how to keep chargers in good working order. He also says this is in addition to the instructions included in the owner’s manual, helping EV owners to care for their electric two-wheeler and get the best performance out of it. “Battery Care Month will be held at all of our dealers across the 500 city ​​and the service will be performed at no cost to the customer,” added Gill.
