Hero MotoCorp recently launched a new 110 scooter to expand their product line. One of the most popular scooters in the segment is the TVS Jupiter. The Xoom will face stiff competition from Jupiter as it is one of the best selling scooters on the market. This is how both scooters stack up.

In terms of design, both scooters are very different. Jupiter has a more conventional appearance, without any outstanding elements but this means most people won’t mind how it looks. On the other hand, Xoom has a fun and sporty design language. There are X-shaped elements in the headlights and taillights. The color options are also something that will attract attention.

Both scooters are equipped with a 110 cc fuel injection engine. Xoom’s powertrain produces 8.03 hp at 7,250 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, Jupiter’s engine produces 7.79 hp at 7,500 rpm and 8.8 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.

Hero Xoom is equipped with the first angle projector in the segment. Other features on offer are a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, i3 start/stop technology, a USB charger, and a boot light. Jupiter comes with Bluetooth connectivity, external fuel filler cap, USB charger and TVS Intelligo start/stop technology.

The Xoom is being offered in three variants. Cost of LX $68,599, VX is priced $71,799 and cost ZX $76,699. Jupiter is offered in 5 variants – Sheet Metal Wheel, Standard, ZX drum ZX disc, ZX SmartXonnect and Classic. They cost $69,990, $74,068, $78,843, $82,843, $85,673 and $86,263 respectively.
