Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition starts shipping in India


Hero MotoCorp has launched XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition in India at a price 1.52 lakh (old gallery). It comes with several upgrades over the standard version of the motorcycle.

Hero MotoCorp has started delivering the XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition motorcycle in India almost a month after it hit the market. Valuation at 1.52 lakh, new XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition bikes were handed over to customers during an event held in Bengaluru. Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, said it has delivered the first 100 units to customers so far. The mountain bike was delivered during the inauguration of the two-wheeler manufacturer’s first Xpulse Xperience Center in India. Hero MotoCorp will soon set up more such centers across India.

The entry-level Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition ADV comes with a factory-installed rally kit. The car has LED headlights with DRL unit, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and other features. The vehicle is equipped with a fully adjustable 250 mm front suspension and a fully adjustable 10-step 220 mm rear suspension. The off-road vehicle has a ground clearance of 270 mm, about 50 mm higher than the standard models. The car has a longer wheelbase of 1,426 mm and 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels with multi-purpose tyres.

Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition is equipped with a 4-stroke single-cylinder engine, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, with a capacity of 200 cc. It is the same unit used in the standard version of the motorcycle. The engine is capable of producing a maximum capacity of 18.9 horsepower and maximum torque of 17.35 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Hero MotoCorp’s Xpulse Xperience Center aims to provide training programs to its customers. Spread across three disciplines based on difficulty level, the training will provide equestrian skills to the participants. Participants in the training program will learn essential off-road riding skills such as terrain setting, body posture, ramps and brakes, inclines and falls, fallen bike recovery, balance points, turns garage, skid, walk and more.
