SHIMLA: Frustrated by being denied food and cigarettes in the middle of the night, a young man fired two shots into the air in a hotel in New York. Chotta Shimla early Tuesday.
After registering an armed action case and various parts of the IPC, the police arrested the young man.
The person was staying in the hotel and after midnight he asked for food and cigarettes. When the waiter expressed his disapproval, he lost his patience and opened fire and created panic in the area.
According to police officials, an FIR has been registered at the East Police Department following a complaint filed by Mukesh Malhotra.
The accused young man was identified as Vishwanath and it was lighted that from 2am to 3am he asked for food and cigarettes, but the waiter Kedar Singh refused to bring these because of the door. Shops and restaurants are closed. After his request was denied, Vishwanath fired his weapon twice and threatened to kill Kedar Singh.
