Hyderabad traffic police give advice ahead of Formula E race on February 10


The first Hyderabad e-Prix will take place this Saturday, February 10, 2023 and ahead of the race, Hyderabad Police have issued advice on traffic congestion. The Hyderabad e-Prix being held on city streets, much like Formula E, will see many roads closed for the race. The recommendation is in effect from February 10 to 12.

1. During this time, traffic from Iqbal Minar intersection heading towards Telugu Talli and Tankbund intersection will be diverted to Telugu Thalli overpass towards Katta Maisamma temple.

2. Traffic traveling from the BuddaBhavan junction towards the Imax Roundabout on the Roundabout will be diverted at the Nallagutta Interchange.

3. Traffic traveling from Rasoolpura towards the Roundabout through Nallagutta will be diverted at the Nallagutta junction towards Ranigunj.

4. Traffic going from the VW Statue towards the Khairatabad overpass will not be allowed to go towards the Roundabout and will be diverted from the VW Statue towards Shadan University.

5. Traffic going from Tankbund/Telugu Thalli to the Roundabout will be diverted at the Telugu Thalli junction to Iqbal Minar.

6. Traffic traveling from BRKR Bhavan towards the Roundabout will be diverted to the Telugu Thalli junction towards Iqbal Minar.

7. Traffic traveling from the Iqbal Minar intersection towards the Minte mixed lane will be diverted towards the Ravindra Bharathi intersection.

8. Traffic traveling from Khairatabad Bada Ganesh lane towards the Printing Press or Roundabout junction will be diverted towards Rajdooth lane.

Held in the city centre, the Hyderabad e-Prix will take place along Lake Hussain Sagar. The 2,835 km track winds through Lumbini Park and will have a total of 18 turns. The Hyderabad e-Prix marks the fourth round of the 9th Season Formula E Championship following the season opener in Mexico City and the double header in Diriyah.
