It’s a nightmare!!!
A famous DIY influencer known as TayBeepBoop above TikTok just had a crazy traumatic experience at a Hollywood hotel! In a new lengthy video posted on Sunday, the social media star, who is in the city on a business trip, recounts her terrifying stay at Godfrey Hotel – during which she thinks a hotel employee is plotting a sex trafficking scheme!!

The creepy footage begins with a clip of the social media star walking around her room as someone was knocking and screaming inside at around 9:30 p.m. that night. The exact date of the incident is unknown, but it seems to have happened very recently. Tay reminds viewers to “ALWAYS LOCK YOUR DOOR” because someone “opened” her door without permission. The person is believed to be an employee who testified that he had an urgent question about her car. She explained:
“I’m a FaceTiming friend, eating Thai food in bed with no pants on when this happened. I UP and spilled my food, threw in my pants, then started recording for proof [sp} something happened.”
During the video, she discussed the situation with her friends, saying:
“You guys, he opened the door – and I have it latched – and he said, ‘Come to the door.’ And I said, ‘What do you want?’ He said, ‘There’s an emergency regarding your car.’”
The big kicker was she doesn’t own a car!! So the whole thing was clearly a lie! She called the front desk, but they were no help. Tay described:
“I said, ‘Why is there someone opening my door?’ The front desk person said there shouldn’t be and they’re sending security right now.”
In a text caption over the clip, the influencer noted:
“My room was in the corner of the hotel, very secluded and far from the elevator.”
Despite the fact that the front desk claimed security was on the way, nobody ever came. Instead, the man continued to knock on her door while the front desk ignored her calls from then on!! WTF?! She added:
“This full video is 18 min long. He was outside my door and knocking for a WHILE. & the whole time during this the front desk STOPPED answering me (after the first call) & the guy was still outside my door. Eventually the man wasn’t there anymore and when I called [the front desk] Again he replied. “
The star has gone on to share clips of their conversation – and that actually seems very shady!
On the phone, the “employee” went on to say that he needed to talk to her IN PERSONALITY about her car (which he eventually revealed to be smoking). Again, this is a car she claims she doesn’t own and it’s definitely not at the hotel! During their conversation, Tay frankly called the man about his behavior and said she was worried he was trying to “have sex” with her. But then he said he was calling the police she because of an emergency with her car (which he also admits he knows isn’t hers)! Listen to the whole thing:

The artist was eventually saved by an escort, which her client had hired for her, after she imparted her experience. Even that one person seemed worried about the safety in the hotel and thought they should call the police to help them escape. At the time, Tay didn’t feel comfortable calling the authorities because she had work to do and was already shaking enough. Incredibly, NOONE from the “hotel came to help any time until ~1.5 hours later” [her] Private escort” has arrived. Huh! Terrible. Thank goodness she has clients to help her because in a situation like that, it’s hard to think straight.

Viewers sent their concerns, advice and support into the video’s comments, writing:
“The front desk is 100% in there, be careful
Too scared”
“He doesn’t seem surprised when you say you’re pretty sure he’s trying to get you traffic.”
“LIST FOR HOTEL!!! The fact that they avoided your calls after the first time means they already know about what’s going on!! “
“The change of tone that he suddenly realized it wasn’t your car?! and it’s smoking but he’s not calling 911, just spending time coming to you?! HUH?”
The influencer claimed that there were a lot of staff in the hotel when she finally left with her escort. She also noted that one employee seemed legitimately confused about what was going on. So it’s hard to know what’s going on, but the fact that they ignore so many of her phone calls is alarming!! Aside from trying to get into her locked room.
Incredibly, this creepy behavior is said to be a stereotype at this hotel! One user wrote:
“I have heard about this happening many times at this hotel, I am shocked that they are still in business. I’m glad you’re safe!”
Another person added:
“You need to report this to the police. It seems to be a recurring problem with this place. You can prevent it from happening again! “

Thankfully, content creators are safe, but there’s a lot of work to do right now. She explained in her caption:

She has now shared her footage with Los Angeles Police DepartmentSo hopefully they will take action to stop this alleged nefarious practice!! In an update on Monday, the designer shared:
“I have not received a response from the management @godfreyhotelhwood and the video is being sent to @lapdhq”
In one New video posted today, the content creator retweeted a message, specifically noting that this is not a one-time thing exclusive to her. They revealed:
“I just saw you [sp] hotel videos. My friend was there in [sp] Thursday and the same thing happened to her. Did you see his face at all? “
And in Tay’s caption, she replied:
“There have been many claims that the same thing happened to women in @godfreyhotelhwood include more in the comments section of the final video. I got no response from their manager. My video is being sent to the LAPD and I don’t know what else to do”.
So far, Godfrey has not responded to the allegations.
