Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja her residence in the national capital was stolen in February and cash, jewelry and other valuables worth Rs 2.4 crore were stolen. Stolen, it was officially known on April 9, 2022. Confirming the incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Amrutha Guguloth said the complaint was filed two months ago, on the date. February 23, in connection with theft at the residence of Harish Ahuja, father-in-law of Sonam Kapoor, at Amrita Shergil Marg in Delhi. DCP Guguloth said the complainant became aware of the robbery on 11 February, however, reported the incident 12 days later on 23 February, after which Delhi Police registered the FIR under section 381 (Theft) theft of property owned by owner or servant) of Indian Penal Code at Tughlak road police station and start investigating the case. The senior official announced that police teams have been formed to probe the case and are currently reviewing the evidence. “The investigation is still underway,” Guguloth added.
