After switching teams this season, Karthik says he needs to improve his game.
“I’ve made a conscious effort to do justice to myself. I feel I could have done better over the past few years. The way I train has changed. I tell myself I’m not done. I have a goal. goal and I want to achieve something,” said the 36-year-old.
Karthik had tough training sessions with his friend and coach Abhishek Nayar before IPL.

“Be calm, know your game and who you can take on. I’ve been trying to play whiteball cricket, practice matches and scripts. Those are the hours you put out when no one is looking.” he said when asked about the areas he has worked on.
“The real work was done before the IPL, which is something I’m going to document. You have to plan ahead in T20, but if it’s not there, you have to be able to change the footage.”
