Jeep Avenger’s first all-electric SUV offers more than 500 km . city range

Jeep car has officially taken off from its first all-electric Avenger SUV. The electric SUV was introduced at the Paris Motor Show. Avengers. marks a turning point in Jeep’s history, being the brand’s first electric vehicle. The SUV maker shared the first images of the Avenger just a month ago. The Avenger electric SUV is based on Stellantis’ eCMP platform and features Jeep’s signature design with its iconic seven-slit grille and horizontal roofline.

Despite being the first electric vehicle, Jeep thinks it’s best not to tinker with its design philosophy. The Avenger comes with a slightly curved grille flanked by LED headlights. The front bumper has characteristic shapes, in which the highlight is the plastic fender. On the sides, the rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar. The electric SUV stands out on 18-inch aluminum wheels. At the rear, the electric SUV features signature LED taillights that shape an X. As a Jeep SUV, the Avenger also has a ground clearance of 200 mm for less-than-ideal roads.

The Avenger’s interior is as premium as any Jeep SUV comes with. As a digital and connected car, the Avenger offers a 10.25-inch digital dashboard and a similarly sized digital touchscreen infotainment system. The display is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SUV is also equipped with leather seats, electrically adjustable and massage functions, multi-color ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof.

The Jeep Avenger uses a new 54 kWh lithium-ion battery. It can produce a maximum capacity of 156 horsepower and maximum torque of 260 Nm. Jeep claims the Avenger electric SUV will offer a range of 400 km on the WLTP cycle. It also claims that the range can go up to over 500 km in urban settings. The electric SUV offers several driving and terrain modes such as Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud and Sand.

The Jeep Avenger can recharge to 80% in about 24 minutes. Using a public charging point or Wallbox, the SUV can be fully charged in 5 and a half hours.
