Two hundred and thirty-five years and going on. Billed as ‘England’s oldest family jeweler’, Deakin & Francis is looking to expand its legacy with plans for future developments.
Founded in 1786 in Birmingham’s Jewelry Quarter, the business hired content marketing agency HDY to help it grow both nationally and internationally.
Henry Deakin, managing director at Deakin & Francis, told The BusinessDesk that the appointment of HDY Agency “marks the next chapter for our business and our growth ambitions,” including expansion at US market.
The expansion plan ideally coincides with the jewelry and accessories maker’s recent launch of a new collection, which includes an expansion of its core cufflink collections.
In addition to the Birmingham facility, the jeweler also has a Mayfair, London store and their collections are available at more than 600 points of purchase globally, including Harrods.
Angel Gaskell, co-founder of HDY Agency, said: “Working with a client based in Birmingham is always a great feeling. That was our first common ground; then comes passion and drive to succeed. “
