The SA20 league is rapidly climbing the popularity charts. After recruiting some of the best players in the world, South Africa’s T20 league is churning out breathtaking action every day. Jimmy Neesham, who played for Pretoria Capitals in the tournament, delivered a one-handed stunner against the Durban Super Giants, leaving the cricket world in awe. Fieldin at one point, Neesham saw the ball come quite a distance to his left. The New Zealand all-around athlete performed a stunning dive attempt and took the ball with one hand to complete the elimination.
Seeing Neesham complete the catch, hitter Durban Wian Mulder couldn’t believe his luck. His reaction said it all. Here is the video:

With this being the inaugural tournament of the SA20, Neesham says the tournament feels a bit like the Indian Prmeier. “Yes, that’s great. It was obviously a great tournament, the vibe was amazing because of the whole thing, some of the crowds were pretty incredible and some of the atmosphere was pretty incredible. So it has been really interesting so far. We are only half way through so hopefully it will continue to deliver over the next few weeks,” he said during an interaction with SA20.
“It’s a little bit like IPL. The four foreign players and every team is obviously really high quality and I’m really impressed with the quality of the native South African players,” he added.
Neesham also explained how Pretoria Capitals deal with the pressure of the games and how they deal with each outcome, saying, “I think you know, we know what the quality of the teams in this league is like. Which’ is not going to go out and blow the teams out of the park and win every game. So we’re really not too disappointed with yesterday’s performance. It’s like some really good rounds by some really high quality players and Jos Buttler And David Miller and you know it happens every now and then and settings but the player quality is higher so we didn’t change a lot of things in this game. Just go again and get a little better than yesterday.
