Jurgen Klopp in good spirits after Liverpool were put to the test by Crystal Palace, and the Reds manager even took the time to share the excitement with supporters.

The German was seen handing beer to a group of fans waiting outside, getting off the team bus to spend some time with the fans who had come to Selhurst Park for 3-1 win.

It was a stressful 90 minutes for Liverpool, with Palace closing in on a number of occasions before Fabinho was penalized ultimately making the result safe.

And the gesture from the manager responded to exactly the excitement you’d expect from a fan base to be given a very welcoming visit by a title-winning manager.

For part of the first half, it looked like Liverpool would have an easy afternoon, with Virgil van Dijk leading them and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain doubling the lead.

However, the pressure from the home team did not stop, when Odsonne Edouard regained a goal and several other opportunities came to Patrick Vieira’s team.

The late third goal came after a VAR call that left Vieira lamenting his team’s luck, and away fans probably felt a mixture of pride and relief when they were greeted by the boss.

In a video shared on social media, Klopp can be seen walking out of the coach with a beer in hand, before walking over to the waiting supporters and handing them bottles of wine.

One person in the group can be heard calling out “yes, man” while another can be seen taking pictures on their phone.

The former Borussia Dortmund coach is known for enjoying himself a beer and spending time like Ambassador for the German beer brand Warsteiner.

Early in his Liverpool tenure Klopp spotted enjoying a beer during a night out in Liverpool, while several fans approached him in Liverpool City center in 2015 as he settled into his new environment with Sampling local watering holes.

Liverpool’s win at Selhurst Park has helped them close the gap with the league leaders City of Manchester there are only nine points left and they can narrow it down even further if they win their game.

Cities can only be drawn with Southampton late on Saturday, with Aymeric Laporte equalizing after Kyle Walker-Peters gave his opponents a surprise lead.

Klopp’s side have won their last two matches in the competition, with 48 points from 22 games, and they are the Premier League’s top scorers with 58 goals.

They drew with title rivals City in October, and the teams won’t meet again until April.
