Something that could happen is the absence of a £50m signing in January, who was left to settle for a place on the bench.
It has always been a challenge for Luis Diaz to replace one of Liverpool’s dreaded three fronts Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota on arrival, but he managed to secure a starting spot.
Since joining Porto in January, the Colombian has enjoyed a fantastic start at Merseyside, fueling a Liverpool forward that already has plenty of potential.
On Tuesday night, Diaz again emphasized his importance to the Reds – this time through his lack of selection.

Klopp added: “We expect a lot from him in the future.
“For now, yes, but also in the future. I have a feeling that this will be a really good story for Luis at Liverpool.”
There’s no denying a deal for Diaz has gone ahead of schedule and, if that’s not some Premier League Rivals ramped up efforts to poach him in January, Liverpool fans may have had to wait until next season to see him in red.
However, aside from his swift move, his emergence as a key player suffered the same fate.
Although he was clearly bought for the future, Diaz is presenting Klopp with a dilemma in the present: Liverpool look like a much more lively team with the £50m man in the mix. their squad.
