UDUPI: In a big relief for the former Karnataka minister, pastor Hotel EshwarappaUdupi police gave seniors cleanly BJP leader accused of abetting the suicide related to the death of Belagavi-based contractor Santosh Patil.

The report said police found no “evidence” to support the charges against Patil’s former minister prior to taking the extreme step. The investigative team reportedly analyzed 10-12 cell phones and several audio files. It concluded that a financial burden had forced the contractor to take the extreme step. With the exception of statements and claims by family members and Patil’s claim, there are no witnesses against the allegation of abetting. Several witnesses told police that Patil was pressured to pay back the money borrowed for the road, which was allegedly used without a work order. The forensic report said he had consumed pesticides, an officer said. Patil, who was found dead in a motel in the city of Udupi on April 12, blamed Eshwarappa for his death through a WhatsApp message sent to friends, relatives and several homes. newspaper. “Eshwarappa is responsible for my death. He must be punished. I have suppressed all my desires and (am) doing this (suicide). I request PM Modi, CM Bombai and Dr Yediyurappa (former CM) to take care of my family,” Patil’s WhatsApp message read.
