China becomes the second-biggest market globally for the brand in 2021 with sales of 935 units, followed by South Korea with 354 units. In Thailand, Lamborghini has sold 75 units.
Automobili Lamborghini’s Asia-Pacific director Francesco Scardaoni said that India is among the top 10 countries in the Asia Pacific region in 2021 after Thailand, and the company believes the country has the potential to rank higher on the list. “In terms of the market, you can see how India is growing and of course this growth will also be forecast for the next few years… We are predicting really good numbers and positive, which means we have a really positive outlook for 2022 and 2023,” said Scaraoni.
Lamborghini reports that 2021 sales are the best ever, surpassing 2019’s record sales. In 2020, the brand sold just 37 units in India.
