There’s just a few weeks until the 2023 season of Marriage at First Sight, and fans have criticized new groom Jesse Burford for his ridiculous list of ‘dislikes’.
In a trailer released last month, Jesse listed deal-breakers, including things like ‘star-sign chicks’ and women who begin sentences with ‘ honey’.
After Channel Nine uploaded the advert to Instagram on Wednesday, viewers were quick to criticize the wedding host for ‘hating women’ just for being a woman.

Another commented: ‘He’d better just wrap his arms around his mother, for any other woman he can’t stand’.
‘Does he even like women? I think his list can eliminate them all,’ a third wrote.

The matchmaking show’s promotional video introduced viewers to Jesse, who revealed that he has a list of things to avoid when dating.

“I actually brought a list,” he tells the makers as he unpacks it from his pocket.

Jesse went on to say that he also doesn’t like ‘pouty girls’ and any girl who starts sentences with the words ‘honey’, ‘honey’ or ‘oh my god’.
