Maharashtra MVA govt in trouble: Led by Eknath Shinde, at least 10 Shiv Sena MLAs camping in Surat hotel | Surat News

SURAT: In a major political development, at least 10 MLA Shiv Sena are camping at a luxury hotel in the Surat district of Gujarat. MLA is led by senior leader Shiv Sena and minister of urban development in Maharashtra government Eknath Shinde.
Meanwhile, heavy police tape has been installed at the luxury hotel in Magdalla Crossroad in Surat, where the MLAs are camping. The movement of unauthorized persons has been restricted.
Political turmoil in Maharashtra due to cross-voting in the pro-BJP legislative assembly of the ruling party MLA is believed to be the reason behind the MLA’s sudden disappearance from Mumbai and to Surat. Further development may lead to instability in the Uddhav Thackeray government, sources have claimed.
Sources close to the developments in the Gujarat BJP reported that Shinde and other rebel leaders have been in contact with the Gujarat BJP’s CR Paatil leader. After approaching Surat, the MLA team claimed to have met Paatil.
“I’m in Gandhinagar. I heard that the MLA has come to Surat,” said Patil, who declined to comment further on the matter at this time.
