A Tennessee man is being charged with murder following the death of his wife during their vacation to paradise.
Bradley Robert Dawson and Christe Chen Dawson appears to be a happy couple living together in Memphis, Tennessee, where Robert works with the nonprofit and Christe works as a pharmacist. The two were planning a trip to Fiji for their honeymoon; A neighbor recalls Christe being very excited about it. She didn’t know that would be where she took her last breath.
The newlyweds booked a stay at Turtle Island Resort – now that name may not be familiar to you, but watching is certainly possible! That’s also where the hit in 1980 Brooke shields movie Green dress was filmed!
This exclusive resort is said to only accommodate up to 14 couples at a time, and has been previously hosted by couples like Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey or Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. (Oh no, is this place cursed?) They advertise:
“Pure indulgence, relaxation and romance in one of the most sought after destinations in the world.”
What a location!
However, the journey turned dark. IBradley’s attorney confirmed Monday that Christe’s body was found in their hotel room on July 9. No details of her cause of death have been provided – attorneys only explain liked that Robert was maintaining his innocence.
Robert appeared before the Judge Sekonaia Vodokisolomone Last Wednesday in Lautoka, where it was determined the 38-year-old had “committed a prosecuteable offense” and will be transferred to the Supreme Court – where he will appear in court on July 27, according to Fiji Sun. In addition, Prosecutors and Inspectors of Police Arvind Kumar requested a court order for a DNA sample from Robert, but the defendant refused. Judge Sekonaia stated the request needed to be brought to the Supreme Court.
If he was so “innocent”, why would he refuse to cooperate with investigators? What’s going on here??
Since the incident, Youth Villagea non-profit organization that helps teenagers with emotional and behavioral problems, confirms Bradley used to work for them but has now been suspended due to circumstances:
“Bradley Dawson is an IT specialist at Youth Village. He has been suspended pending further information. We understand that Ms. Chen is his wife, and we offer our condolences to her family.”
Bradley’s attorneys are currently working to obtain the bond before the Supreme Court date of July 27. Until that time, the defendant is in custody.
