The new United man has called for more intensity and fierceness as he aims to make his mark at the club and a host of new faces can deliver on that in the new year.
Rangnick is said to want to specifically tackle United’s midfield and a number of offers and passes are being offered.

Milinkovic-Savic spoke up
Based on The Athletic, a tall, domineering presence in central midfield is being targeted by Rangnick and Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is a player who fits that profile.
The Serbian is being linked with a move to United Il Messnticro and took to social media to address the speculation surrounding his current condition.
After Lazio’s 3-1 Serie A win over Venezia on Wednesday night, ‘The Sergeant’ posted on Instagram: “I see a lot of rumors about me but… I don’t care! I just want Lazio to win.”
While it remains to be seen whether the 26-year-old is addressing transfer speculation or simply playing around with reports of a relationship with coach Maurizio Sarri, it seems unlikely it will be too long before the Serb Embark on a new challenge.
According to his agent, former Chelsea Mateja Kezman striker Milinkovic-Savic is ready to leave, and a move to Old Trafford could be on the cards.
“He is a great player for the club,” Kezman recently declared. “Soon the time will come for him to live a new adventure and new dreams.”
Rumored Kamara Contract Story
Another midfielder being offered a move to Manchester is Marseille’s Boubacar Kamara.
The 22-year-old has seen his profile skyrocket in recent months and it is widely reported that United are poised to strike as his contract story is rumored, with FourFourTwo even reports Kamara will be confirmed as Rangnick’s first signing in the coming days.
The young Frenchman is out of contract in the summer and Marseille are said to be long gone as they want to extend their stay in the south of France.
Based on L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 outfit have seen Kamara turn down an offer to make him the club’s highest earner as a move seems imminent.
With his current contract set to expire in the summer, the midfielder is free to strike a deal with the likes of United on January 1.
Pogba stays in January
While there are rumors that the midfield will be strengthened in January, it seems likely that a player currently occupying a spot in the heart of the park will stay, at least for the time being.
Paul Pogba has been embroiled in exit talks for months as his inability to agree a new deal means the Frenchman is likely to leave for free in the summer.
However, United could look to recoup some of the £89m they spent bringing him back to Old Trafford in 2016, by cashing in the January window.
Based on ESPN, this won’t be the case though.
The Red Devils are believed to be considering offers for Pogba in January if the France international confirms his desire to leave for free in the summer by refusing to sign a new contract, but for now, this is not the case. fit.
