Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Update reload part 1 arrives on December 14, and the big update will bring Call Of Duty’s iconic Shipment map to the game. The tiny and chaotic Shipment map from 2007’s Modern Warfare is returning with a mid-season update, but the Modern Warfare 2 version of the classic map features a stormy backdrop on a cargo ship at sea. This setting thematically matches the game’s Dark Water campaign mission, which featured Task Force 141 fighting aboard a cargo ship amid a raging storm.
In addition to the new storm ship atmosphere, Activision confirmed some changes to the design of the map. One notable change includes less verticality than we’ve seen in previous iterations of Shipment, as the Shipment version of Modern Warfare 2 doesn’t have the ability to climb onto shipping crates. transfer, so the player will be kept on the ground to fight.
One previous blog post also revealed that players won’t be able to go out of bounds for quick play.
