MORE Duggar Family Drama – Amy reveals she’s estranged from her father


Jim Bob Duggar not the only family member from which Amy Duggar King estranged.

The 19 Children and Numbers alum often appears on the show as a close cousin of the main fan. However, since then, she has professed to distance herself from the patriarch amid accusations, among many other crimesthat he protected his eldest son Josh Duggar2015 Sex Abuse Scandal. And when some Duggars walked around the wagons in the middle of a child porn trial last year, she raised her voice against Josh.

It hasn’t been an easy time being a Duggar, but Amy has handled herself well – ready to sever ties if it means siding with truth and justice.

Turns out the reality star had some practice sessions. As she revealed on Monday, she also has to “set boundaries” with her own father. She tweeted:

“My relationship with my father is non-existent. I had to set boundaries to protect.”

Gosh! She didn’t specify what happened, but it must have been pretty bad. She added for all the other kids out there with problematic parents:

“If your day was tough, you’re not alone and I see you.. I’m sorry your dad didn’t follow through and become the loving father you deserve in your life.”

As always, we appreciate her sharing the hard truth.

Please note that this message is not on Father’s Day. As for the actual day on Sunday, her social network was home to a very sweet and grateful post about the best dad in her life – her husband and the father of her children , Dillon King.

So glad she broke the cycle! Good for you, gurl!
