“New series, new themes, increased energy”: BCCI shares a video of a player’s photo session in New Jersey. Clock


The Cricket Control Board in India has shared a video on social media from a photo session of the Indian players in the new T20 jersey. The shoot comes ahead of Rohit Sharma and company’s upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia that will begin September 20 in Mohali. Video featuring Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat kohli, all of whom are seen posing for pictures. It is worth noting that the new jersey was released on social media on Sunday by BCCI.

“New series. New theme. Renewed energy,” BCCI wrote while sharing the video.

While the first match of the series will be played in Mohali, the second and third matches will be played in Nagpur and Hyderabad.

“For every cricket fan out there, this is the one for you. Introducing the brand new T20 Jersey – One Blue Jersey,” BCCI tweeted on Sunday. The jersey consists of a light blue t-shirt with darker blue sleeves, paired with light blue trousers.

After a three-match T20I series against Australia, the Indian men’s team will host South Africa with the largest number of T20Is.

While the ODI series against South Africa will take place, their next mission in the shortest format will be directly the 2022 T20 World Cup, which begins in October in Australia.

India recently suffered a shock of early elimination in the Asian Cup following defeats to Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super 4 round.
