New The Project star Michael Hing shocks audiences after wishing Prince Andrew DIE

Michael Hing had just been on the Australian news show The Project and he delivered a controversial satire.

The new panelist, who will appear full-time from next year, joked about Prince Andrew on Tuesday’s show.

The comedian reflected on the major events of the past year, including Queen Elizabeth’s death in September.

“The year 2022 is sad, obviously the Queen has passed away, but maybe next year will be better and Prince Andrew will pass away,” he said.

The comment caused the studio audience to burst into shocks of mockery, to which Michael replied: ‘Come on! Are you protecting Prince Andrew now?’

While the audience was shocked, his co-stars couldn’t help laughing and fell into a state of crying and laughing.

‘Is he your man of the year?’ colleague Kate Langbroek asked, and Michael replied, ‘No!’

Prince Andrew was stripped of all official duties by his late mother Elizabeth II in January.

The disgraced royal resigned in 2019 because of his friendship with the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

He was stripped of his honorary military roles, including Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, and forced to give up his HRH style in public.

Epstein, who lured hundreds of vulnerable young girls into his sex trafficking ring over a 30-year period with support from British society Ghislane Maxwell, was a close friend of the Duke and even even in his New York home.

Epstein took his own life in a New York prison in 2019 before being put on trial for sex trafficking.

Maxwell was jailed in June for 20 years for buying teenage girls for Epstein to abuse.
