Despite taking a break from international cricket in August 2020, the former India captain MS Dhoni enjoys a large following of fans. Dhoni, who dropped out of international cricket in August 2020, has continued to feature in the IPL for CSK. While Dhoni remains a fan favorite, the chances of him continuing to play in the T20 after this season are slim.
Dhoni was recently spotted meeting with members of the Indian cricket team ahead of their first T20I match against New Zealand. He is seen interacting with people like Shubman carries, Yuzvendra Chahal and support staff.
Dhoni is arguably one of the best captains Team India has ever had. He led Team India to win three major ICC titles — 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy.
In addition to his achievements in the national team, he is also a prominent leader in franchise cricket, leading CSK to four Indian Premier League championships (2010, 2011, 2018, 2021).
