In July 2018, police charged Reshod Everett of Fayetteville, NC with 11 counts of drug trafficking. But after a judge recently declared his trial a wrongdoer, he remains in custody.
Reshod Everett claims he was set up by police when his home, where his wife also runs a daycare business, was raided. He claims “a brown paper bag and a black envelope – prominently displayed when police display confiscated goods,” WRAL Report.
Police said they seized 100 pounds of marijuana, marijuana gum and cookies, and six firearms from his home.
It was also reported that Everett had filed a lawsuit against the police department and that the two officers involved in the case had resigned. But Everett is said to remain in custody until prosecutors determine if they will rehear the case.
Roomies, what do you think of this?
