Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Sunday accused Pakistani leader Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan of bringing Pakistan to bloodshed and chaos, adding that the former prime minister should stop calling military help and do politics alone like no one else. will help him now, The News International reported.

Asif made these statements while speaking during a press conference at his residence in Sialkot, Pakistan.

The News International report further cites Asif as saying that PTI has a background of councils that it has rejected, and is now asking organizations to facilitate their negotiations with the government.

The minister said PTI had sought to dissolve the Punjab Council and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Imran himself had said he did not want to sit with thieves and bandits. He then said members of his party would withdraw their resignations from Parliament, the minister announced in the report.

The report quoted him as saying that when PTI’s resignation began to be accepted, Imran Khan said: “We will return to the council”.
